Our client is a leader in the Manufacturing and Processing of Water-soluble Polymers, the largest polyacrylamide manufacturer in the world.  Head Office located in Western Europe, the Group comprises subsidiaries and joint ventures in more than 30 countries and operates 23 production sites in Europe, Asia, Australia and the Americas.
They are currently building a speciality CHEMICAL PLANT in Gujarat, India for the production of Polymers and are seeking to recruit a MECHANICAL OR CHEMICAL ENGINEER to reinforce their construction team; to control the contractors for erection platform, mechanical, equipment installation, piping electricity and instrumentation within a team of 5-6 engineers.

Candidates should have 5-10 years of experience, preferably having previously worked in the Middle East, (UAE, Oman etc).  The construction duration is about 18 months and our client is seeking versatile professionals.

Duties & Responsibilities:-

They are currently seeking a Director for Global Engineering Maintenance to be based at their HQ in Manila, Philippines.  The role will also involve worldwide travel to the Group’s Subsidiaries.   
Role Description:
The Director, Global Engineering Maintenance plans for and directs the development and preparation of programs, processes, plans, specifications, special studies and cost estimates for the Port’s capital improvement and major maintenance and repair projects.
  I.    Essential Functions:
  ·         Directs the preparation of plans, specifications, designs, estimates and schedules for capital improvement and major maintenance and repair projects
 ·         Monitor progress of capital improvement and major maintenance and repair projects in the field.
 ·         Evaluate the level of service provided as a basis for making improvements to productivity, cost effectiveness and periodic progress payments.
 ·         Evaluate work methods and procedures, staffing, scheduling practices, productivity and costs.
 ·         Develops and/or reviews policies, procedures and programs, identifies and resolves issues, and develops compliance and implementation strategies which affect the development of capital improvement plans, major maintenance of Port infrastructure and environmental compliance activity.
·         Ensure all equipment and materials and procedures utilized during all the engineering functions are suitable, safe and in accordance with relevant standards and company requirements. ·         Maintains and improves the Port’s preventative maintenance program, including developing and monitoring maintenance plans and related documentation systems.
·         Lead the Maintenance Transformation process in all Client’s Terminals. Promoting the best practices and continues improvement in the industry.
 ·         Develop and establish sustainable maintenance minimum standards for equipment and facilities.

Our clients are currently involved in various construction and upgrade of Power Projects within Saudi Arabia.   They are currently seeking HSE HEALTH & SAFETY SITE ENGINEERS preferably with experience of large Power Projects including coal fired/thermal/CCGT and previous work experience in the Middle East as an Expat. Candidates should have BSc or bachelor engineering degree or NEBOSH or equivalent accreditation from a recognized professional body having minimum ten (10) years of Construction Site safety experience of large multi-discipline and multi-national projects like Power / Oil / gas / Petrochemical Projects as a Safety Engineer. 

Thorough knowledge of relevant International health and safety Standards and proficient in relevant software's & safety implementation Procedures. Thorough knowledge of HSEQ management practices and risk analysis of complex systems, well versed in MS Office and familiar with MIS.  Good English communication skill and leadership qualities. Previous working experience in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East is an advantage.

Our client is an International Contractor.  They are seeking a PROJECT MANAGER for a Cross-rail Project in London, to be responsible for implementing, maintaining and reporting against the business plan for that business on a timely basis.   The Project Manager is responsible to deliver the Project within Budget and on Schedule while creating a business relationship with the client to ensure repeat business.

Our client is an International Contractor.  They are seeking a PLANNING & SCHEDULING MANAGER for a Cross-rail project in London to be responsible for implementing Company policies, systems and procedures.

The Material Control and Planning Section of Supply Chain Department closely collaborates with line departments to ensure efficient and effective planning and scheduling of all supply chain and materials management activities. 
Duties & Responsibilities:-
Achieve a well-organized plan and schedule of all required materials management related activities in the plant through effective planning & organizing, communication and coordination with all operating units.
 Leads and supervises Material Controller in achieving section objectives.
 Manages, plans and controls the maintenance of master data for material requirements planning to maintain inventory levels.
  Prepares and monitors high level critical demand planning activities and critical spare parts.

Candidates should be a Licensed professional engineer, University graduate/Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Production, Mechanical or related field), and have strong knowledge of warehousing and materials planning in the utilities environments, and have at least 10 years’ related professional work experience with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.  Work experience in a power plant operations and maintenance, excellent leadership skills, planning, organizing, reporting, multi-level communication.

Our client is involved with the development and operation of the Rabigh IWSPP Project and is the Utilities provider (power, water, steam) within the Rabigh complex, the integrated refinery and petrochemical complex located north of Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.  The IWSPP (Independent Water Steam Power Producer) is a conventional thermal power plant and desalination facility with a contractual capacity of 360 MW net power output, 1,230 t/h net steam output and 5,580 t/h net water output.  The plant comprises steam generator units with electrostatic precipitators, wet limestone FGD units, steam turbine generators, seawater RO desalination trains and associated auxiliaries. The plant utilizes Heavy Fuel Oil to generate the electrical power and desalination is undertaken with Reverse Osmosis.

We are seeking to recruit a Manager of Projects to:-
-       Manage engineering, improvement and implementation projects related to the IWSPP -         -        Manage/action major changes to plant and processes (MOC
-         Plan and lead all activities relating to total planned facility shut down (T&I)
-        Provide expert level project support to other departments as needed
-        Manage and execute major plant operational CAPEX items
-        Interface with key external stakeholders with regards to audits, insurance matters, etc. -         Interface with asset company (RAWEC), in particular Asset Management team Experience:
-          Minimum 10 to 15 years’ relevant professional experience, including project lead and/or maintenance, engineering related to power plants and proven track record in delivering projects in a timely manner

LEAD PROCESS ENGINEER – Refinery Upgrade / Hydrocracker Project - Bahrain 

Our client is the leading provider of international professional engineering services to the Energy, Resource and Complex Process Industries in the Middle East.  They have been awarded the PMC contract for the upgrade of an existing refinery to increase output.   This is a five year project and will involve nine new units being integrated with fourteen existing units, including a residue hydrocracker, vacuum gas oil hydrocracker, diesel hydrotreater, sulfer recovery unit, and delayed coker unit.   The FEED has been completed and the EPC packages are just going out to bid.

We are seeking a Lead Process Engineer – Residue Hydrocracker Unit (RHCU) for a start as soon as possible.  Candidates must have a minimum of 15 years engineering DESIGN experience with the vast majority of this involved in different refinery process units. This absolutely must include RHCU’s and other hydrocracker units. Other experience may include Diesel Hydrotreaters, (DHT), Vacuum Distillation Units (VDU), Vacuum Gas Oil (VGO) Hydrotreaters and Fluid Catalytic Cracking Units (FCCU) etc.

The role will initially be based at our client’s offices in Bahrain for 9-12 months and there then may be a need to relocate for approx. 18 months to the EPC location (depending on EPC award, could be S. Korea, Japan, UAE or Europe) before returning to Bahrain.  Our client will provide negotiable salary plus a living allowance to cover accommodation, transport and leave flights.

We are seeking seasoned professionals with the following previous experience: 

·         Thermal Fired Power Plants

·         CCGT

·         Coal fired Power Plants with experience of conventional Boilers

·         Coal fired Power Plants with CFB – Circulating Fluidized Bed (Boilers designed with Coal Utilization Technology)

·         ISWPP – Power, Water, Steam

Candidates should preferably have a Degree in Mechanical Engineering and/or equivalent of 10–15 years International overseas experience in O&M on similar Projects.

-       Application and improvement of a CMMS.

-       Direction and organisation of entire operation and/or maintenance activities including staff.

-       Periodical evaluation of staff’s skills and required training measures.

-       Periodical evaluation and optimisation of strategies and procedures.

-       Securing of the safety for staff and plant during day to day maintenance and/operation as well as during start up and shut down and repair measures.

-       QA /QC for all operation and/or maintenance measures.

-       Preservation of the plant availability and performance.

-       Reporting to the Plant Manager.

-       Securing of the availability of spares in co-operation with the warehouse and the Technical Office.

-        Management of workshop and related equipment, tools and tackles.

-        Interface Management with experts from EPC ´s, designer ´s and OEM’s side.
